The things that we do and the things that we say are best expressed through love. Love is clearly the capacity to meet someone else’s needs. Ephesians 4:15 tells us that when we speak we should do it truthfully and in love. When children present themselves to their parents, it is our responsibility as parents to nurture the abilities that they have and allow the room for them to fail or succeed through their own effort. The words we say can be the fuel for their future or the venom that destroys hope. Choose your words wisely and let your actions inspire greater effort in your child.
