Do Good Work
As a child, I used to wonder at what point do you have to stop proving your worth or value to others. Whether it was your friends, family, school, or work, it just seemed like no matter how much you accomplished, more was required. Now, it appears that we treat God the same way. No matter how much He has done, we want more. The truth of the matter is that God neither sleeps nor slumbers (Psalms 121:4) concerning our unmet needs. We must strive to do good work consistently, because our God meets our needs consistently. So, let us not become weary in doing good, for at the appointed time we shall receive a reward from Him (Galatians 6:9).
