Jesus said that He would be our friend, one that would stick closer than any brother. One of the things that we can count on in that relationship is that He will be honest to us. The friendships that we create on our path should reflect this same attribute. Having people around who only agree with everything you say or do can be unproductive and unfulfilling. It is also important to be the kind of friend to others that God has been to us, in that, He met our needs even though we really do not admit we have them. Be a friend today and forever by remembering the example that Jesus gave to us and meet the needs of others without sacrificing your beliefs.
